Ystradgynlais. Kirsty's Culloden?

I heard some rumours today that the prediction I made about Kirsty struggling with her Labour votes, is becoming reality. The feisty Lib Dem leader relies very heavily on traditional Labour supporters in Ystradgynlais, lending her their support to keep out the Tories. Apparently, several residents of this proud Swansea Valley town have been crossing the road in order to have the opportunity to verbally abuse her.

The Tories are talking up taking Brecon & Radnor and the potential scenario of depriving the Libs of their leader, but I would still say she was favourite-but not by much. I cannot see how the Libs can drop below 5/6 AMs, as the regional list together with their core vote simply stops them going below that. Talk of 2 or 3 is really not on the cards and I suppose for them, that would be at least a relief. However, being stuck on the same number since devolution commenced does not exactly speak volumes for their ability to win over Wales.
