Swansea Do Wales Proud

I was listening to the game on the radio tonight and the final few minutes were torture, but the Swans have got to the play-off final-playing stylish football. It does take me back to my younger days of following the Swans, when Harry Griffiths and Toshack were in charge and those magical couple of seasons in the top league. Now, they are just one game away from the good times again, but what a difference this time. For now, the TV money has projected the English premier league into every TV on the globe, with the top clubs being household names everywhere. What a way to project Wales across the globe!

Of course if all goes well tomorrow night, Wales will be guaranteed a side in the English premiership and surely Cardiff have it in them to take Reading at home? Then, we will face the all Wales play-off final which has to be said, will be a bit of a policing challenge. However, it will mean Wales being mentioned across the world and the lucky club injecting up to £90 million into the local economy. It's good news all round, so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

If it is a choice of the two Welsh clubs? The clue is in the title of the blog.

  1. Shame about the Union Flags and far-right loyalism (I know it's only a minority but it's embarrassing).
