It has been announced this morning that Wales will have the 'honour' of having the Olympic torch for at least 4 of 74 stops around the UK, leading up to the London Olypics next year. The Olympic organisers have also asked for volunteers to carry the torch through Wales during this exciting time.
Can I suggest therefore that all the charities that have been cut or closed due to the Lottery and core funding robbed from Wales to invest in London, can have represenetatives to carry the torch in recognition of their past but now unfunded efforts? Let's hope that it doesn't get lost on the way.
