How I Will Vote ?
Shock of shocks, but I will be voting twice for Plaid today. I love the whole process of voting in a polling station-democracy is exciting. As far as the AV referendum is concerned, both campaigns have been patronising, annoying and at times embarrassing, but I will be voting yes. I came very close to proposing to write STV through the ballot paper and spoling it, but there would be little point unless this had been coordinated. Talk in the yes campaign of 'making your MPs work harder' is very insulting to the many MPs I know, who work damned hard

In an AV election, I will only put a 1 in the Plaid box and will never give a 2,3,4, to our political enemies. I know Labour donkey areas will do the same. Whats the point? Why do the Lib Dems a favour? I don't want to see more of them! I am voting NO!
ReplyDeleteI think 95% of Aussie voters just put a 1 in their favoured candidates box. Then the vote is redistributed anyway according to the party's preference. Leads to a lot of pre-election horse-trading to secure a party endorsement for 2nd prefs etc.
