The BBC Giving Credence to Wayne David?

Some People Collect Stamps. Wayne Collects Placards

Why are the BBC allowing Wayne David to get away with a defence against his admission to pinching Plaid placards from supporter's gardens?

The people who have had placards taken away have been happy to have new ones to replace them. Furthermore, Wayne David has claimed that Plaid placards have turned up in gardens without permission, but where exactly? He has then claimed that trespass is illegal. First of all, there is not a shred of evidence of Plaid doing this and secondly, trespass it is civil and not criminal law so clearly, he has not a clue what he is talking about. You cannot prosecute for trespass, because it is not a criminal offence, but theft is a criminal offence - Mr David.

The man is in my opinion an embarrassment and quite how the BBC are making this to be the fault of both parties, is quite beyond me. I had my Plaid placard stolen yesterday and reported it to the police as it is the property of Plaid Cymru and theft is a criminal offence. I will never condone such behaviour as it brings politics into disrepute; something that Wayne David has done with his bizarre and indefensible actions.

Come on BBC. Being politically balanced does not mean blaming both sides, when only one is at fault.
